Modern Essentials. Fully customizable with powerful admin tools and a modular system. One plugin to replace them all.
1.0.13
This release adds several long requested features and focuses on making the plugin friendlier for international servers. Everything is optional and existing setups keep working after the update.
New features
Vault economy support
MuteEssentials can now act as the economy provider for your server. When Vault is installed, shops, jobs and other plugins share the same balances as /money, /pay and /baltop. You can name your currency and turn the hook off if another plugin should stay in charge.
Kit system
A new /kit command lets players claim predefined item kits. Every kit has its own permission, an optional cooldown (none, timed, or one time only) and a full item list with custom names, lore and enchantments. If a player's inventory is full, the extra items drop at their feet instead of being lost.
Offline private messages
Sending a /msg to a player who is offline no longer fails silently. The message is stored and delivered the moment that player logs back in, together with the time it was sent.
Safer teleports
Teleport warmups for /home, /spawn, /warp, /tpa and /rtp now share the same behaviour. A warmup cancels if the player moves or takes damage, which helps prevent combat logging. /rtp gained a warmup as well, and its cooldown only starts after a successful teleport.
Optional MySQL storage Servers that want a shared database can now move their global data into MySQL or MariaDB. Balances, offline messages, kit cooldowns and the rest of the central data are stored in one place. The first start migrates your existing data automatically, and if the database cannot be reached the plugin falls back to local files so your server keeps running. This is off by default, so nothing changes unless you enable it.
Improvements
English by default All remaining German text has been translated. Command descriptions, the help menu, the scoreboard defaults and a few internal messages are now in English. Existing configs are upgraded automatically, and any scoreboard you customized yourself is left untouched.
Command conflict warnings On startup the plugin now tells you in the console if one of its commands is also provided by another plugin, and how to hand that command back if you prefer the other one.
Notes
Existing config and message files are updated in place on first start, with a backup created beforehand. No manual steps are required.
