Delivery Parrot (Experimental)
Description
This experimental Minecraft plugin introduces a dynamic item delivery system between chests using address tags. Players can set up delivery chests that send and receive items automatically.
Features
- Address Chests: Designate a chest as an "Address Chest" by placing a sign with the tag
[address]
followed by a unique name. Example:[address] Platuro
. - Target Address Chests: Set up a delivery route by marking another chest with a sign labeled
[targetaddress]
followed by the name matching an Address Chest. Example:[targetaddress] Platuro
. - Automatic Item Transfer: Items placed in a Target Address Chest are automatically sent to the corresponding Address Chest with the same name.
- Player Notifications: If the address name matches a player's username on the server, that player will receive a notification indicating that items are on the way.
- Postmen NPCs: Upon exploring new chunks, there's a chance a Postman NPC will spawn, which players can interact with to see a list of addresses and send items accordingly.
- Spawn Command: Players can manually spawn a Postman using the command
/deliveryman postoffice
.
Setup Instructions
- Prepare Two Chests: Place two chests at your desired locations.
- Mark the Chests:
- Attach a sign to the first chest with
[address]
and a unique name. - Attach a sign to the second chest with
[targetaddress]
and a name matching an existing Address Chest.
- Attach a sign to the first chest with
- Transfer Items: Place items in the Target Address Chest to automatically send them to the corresponding Address Chest.
