Minecraft's own dialog screens, written in YAML: text boxes, dropdowns, sliders, buttons and an API.
Seamless dialog transitions, click sounds, and PlaceholderAPI in drawn dialogs
Dialogs
- Dialogs now use
after: seamlessby default. The current dialog stays visible until the next replaces it, without flashing the world or showing a waiting screen. If nothing follows, it closes on the next tick. - Existing settings using the old
default-after: waitdefault switch toseamlessonce, preserving comments. Set it back towaitto keep the waiting screen. - Command buttons close the current dialog before running, so screens opened by commands are not closed afterward.
- Seamless dialogs accept only the first click. Notices without buttons now get an Ok button that closes them.
Click sounds
- Clickable pictures now play a button-click sound when the click reaches the server. Set a different sound, volume, or pitch for a drawn dialog or an individual clickable piece, or silence it. Client-only actions such as links and copying remain silent.
PlaceholderAPI
- A drawn dialog's live words now reach PlaceholderAPI: a
{vault_eco_balance}nothing else answers is asked for as%vault_eco_balance%.
Fixed
- Live player heads in drawn dialogs are drawn on Paper 26.x again.
- Fixed
after: waitleaving players on “Waiting for Server” for five seconds when no dialog followed. - Drawn dialogs using Wait now close after the configured delay unless another dialog opens. Rejected or failed clicks also close instead of leaving players waiting.
- Dialogs with URL, copy, or suggest buttons now use
after: close, preventing client-only actions from leaving players on the waiting screen.
