Talon AntiCheat v1.0.0 — Initial Release
First public release of Talon AntiCheat (Free) — packet-based, server-authoritative cheat detection built for Paper 26.1, using PacketEvents on the network thread. Every check is latency-compensated and validated against a real cheat client before shipping.
Detections
Movement
- Speed — bounds movement to real vanilla friction/acceleration physics
- Fly / Hover — illegal airborne movement, including dead-still hovers
- NoFall — server-verified fall damage; catches spoofs even with jump-reset bounce tricks
- NoSlow — moving too fast while eating, drinking or blocking
- Jesus / Water-walk — running across the surface of liquids
- Step — physics-defying vertical steps
- GroundSpoof & MovementAnomaly — alert-only heads-up monitoring
Combat
- Reach — attacks beyond legal range, rewound through the attacker's ping window
- KillAura — aim-snap detection + hits on targets you aren't facing
Packet
- Invalid Rotation — impossible look angles no legitimate client can send
Enforcement
- Per-check action: alert, setback (rubberband), or flag (punish)
- Configurable punishment ladder — kick after X flags, ban after X flags or kicks
- Persistent flag/kick records that survive restarts
- Custom kick/ban messages + a branded ban-rejoin screen
- Optional public broadcast when a player is kicked or banned
Staff tools
- In-game settings GUI — toggle and tune every check, no config files (
/talon settings) - Rich alerts: hover for details, click to teleport to the suspect
- Per-ban evidence reports
- Latency compensation so laggy players aren't falsely flagged
Requirements
- Paper 26.1.x
- Java 25+
- PacketEvents is bundled — no separate install needed

- Released under the MIT License.
