GriefPrevention3D v18.4.1

Wiki: https://github.com/castledking/GriefPrevention3D/wiki

Overview

A dispenser inside a claim could not break that claim's own chorus flowers or decorated pots, so chorus flower farms stopped working once the area was claimed. Armor stands were already exempt; flowers and pots now follow the same rule.

Chorus flowers and decorated pots

Two handlers guard projectiles that break blocks, and they disagreed:

  • The EntityChangeBlockEvent handler already allowed a projectile fired by a dispenser standing in the same claim.
  • An earlier ProjectileHitEvent guard cancelled every hit on a chorus flower or decorated pot that a player did not fire. Since Minecraft 1.20.2 a cancelled hit never reaches the block, so the handler that would have allowed the dispenser never ran.

The hit guard now applies the same rule as the change-block handler: a dispenser in the same claim is allowed, as is a mob when MobProjectilesChangeBlocks is enabled. A dispenser outside the claim shooting in is still blocked, and players still need trust in the claim. The guard is kept for older servers whose EntityChangeBlockEvent does not cover these blocks.

This affects every projectile that breaks these blocks in vanilla — arrows, snowballs, eggs, tridents, fireballs and wind charges.

Armor stands

The armor stand check that allows a dispenser in the same claim now uses the same shared helper. The previous code compared claim IDs directly and could fail on a claim whose ID was not yet assigned. Behaviour is otherwise unchanged.

Upgrade notes
