A stock market for ores. Prices rise when players buy and fall when they sell.
Second public beta. Prices now recover on their own, players can have daily limits, every item has its own permission, and open market windows update live.
What's new
- Price drift: prices slowly move back toward their base price, so crashes, surges and heavy selling fade.
- Stock regeneration: stock moves back toward the starting stock.
- Offline catch-up: the time the server was off is applied on startup (up to 24 hours by default).
- Held admin values: prices and stock set by an admin are left alone until the next trade on that item.
- Daily limits: cap what one player can buy or sell of an item per day, with a configurable reset time and time zone. New
/lodestock limitscommand. - Per-item permissions: every item gets
lodestock.ore.<item>, which everyone has by default (alsolodestock.ore.*). Deny it to lock an item for a group or player. Locked items show greyed out. - Live windows: open market windows update by themselves when something changes, and only the changed icons are redrawn.
- New permission
lodestock.limit.bypass(operators by default).
Upgrading from 0.2.0-beta.1
Your prices, stock and history are kept. The database upgrades itself on the first start.
Lodestock never overwrites your config files, so the new settings are not added to them. Everything works with defaults, but to see and change them, add the new recovery, drift, regen and limits sections and gui.refresh-ticks to your config.yml. The exact lines are in the GitHub release notes.
Drift and regeneration are on by default. Set drift.enabled and regen.enabled to false to switch them off.
