R

3.1.0

The bot can learn general facts about your server from the chat, and admins approve them. config-version is now 8; knowledge.learning is added to your config.yml automatically (backup config.yml.bak-v7), your values stay. Off by default.

  • New: learning from the chat (knowledge.learning.*, needs knowledge.enabled): the bot picks up general facts about the server that players state ("keys and chests are opened at /truhly", "the shops are at /warp shop"). It uses the extraction request of long-term memory (one request for notes and facts when both are on) and works without long-term memory and without a database. A fact is a candidate until it came up in min-mentions separate looks (default 2), then it waits for review and admins with aifriend.teach get a message (also on join). Similar wordings count as one fact, and what knowledge.txt or the taught facts already say is not proposed
  • New: /aifriend learned review GUI: tabs for waiting, approved, disabled, rejected and candidate facts; left click approves, right click rejects (never learned again, nor anything similar), shift + left disables, shift + right deletes (may be learned again). Every click is cancelled, nothing can be taken out. From the console and in chat: list [status] with clickable buttons, approve|disable|reject|delete <id>, edit <id> <text>
  • Only approved facts reach the answers (searched like knowledge.txt); auto-approve exists but is off and not recommended
  • Stored in knowledge-learned.json (text, status, mention count, last five player names, dates, who decided); candidates are dropped after forget-candidates-after-days without a mention
  • /aifriend knowledge shows the learned counts; the bot's self-description mentions the feature
