2.7.0 (2026-10-03)
This release adds configurable splash-potion throwing, fishing gravity and knockback friction, improves combat damage calculations, and restores compatibility with Minecraft 26.3.
Configuration
- Added
old-potion-throwingto restore 1.8-style player splash-potion launches independently ofold-potion-effects. Configure launch speed, angles, position offsets, gravity and whether potions inherit player movement. The module is included in the defaultoldmodeset; lingering potions, witches and dispensers keep their native launches. #844. - Added
fishing-rod-velocity.gravity, defaulting to the 1.8 value of0.04, to adjust how quickly fishing hooks fall while preserving native water behaviour. - Added
old-player-knockback.knockback-frictionto control how much existing velocity remains before each hit adds knockback. The default2.0retains half the velocity on each axis and preserves the previous behaviour. #847.
Fixes
- Fixed Weakness reducing attack damage twice when OCM recalculates damage. Related to #890.
- Preserved native sword-sweep damage on servers that identify sweep attacks separately, while retaining OCM's defence and hit-immunity handling. Sweeping Edge still uses the server's native weapon damage, so it may differ from OCM's configured primary-hit damage. Bukkit 1.9 retains the previous sweep handling. Related to #890.
- Corrected legacy attack-cooldown tracking between attacks in the same tick on servers that identify sweep attacks separately. Bukkit 1.9 retains its existing per-tick fallback. Related to #890.
- Fixed critical-hit calculations when Purpur uses a custom critical multiplier, including after a Purpur reload. #833.
- Made armour, protection enchantments, Resistance and shield projectile settings respect damage-source tags where the server exposes them, including custom damage types. Related to #864.
- Fixed excess damage when Resistance should fully absorb a hit, and restored Resistance calculations on Bukkit 1.9. Related to #621 and #864.
- Fixed defence calculations after shield damage reduction.
- Preserved hit-immunity history when a later damage event is cancelled, and corrected combat-cache expiry after cleanup tasks restart.
- Fixed damage-handler ordering after reloading with different modules enabled.
- Prevented fishing-rod knockback when its damage event is cancelled.
- Preserved exhaustion changes made by other plugins during legacy regeneration.
Compatibility
- Restored Minecraft 26.3 compatibility. #955.
