Give your vanilla server a pulse — mobs that scale, zones that react, deaths that tell a story.
Added
- Aggro follows the level curve — weak early-game mobs notice players from a bit less far away than vanilla, strong late-game mobs just as much or more.
- Sidebar scoreboard + zone BossBar — optional (
/rpgmood toggle scoreboard) sidebar showing current zone, local danger level, and session kill count; a temporary BossBar (colored by danger tier) appears for a few seconds on every zone change. /rpgmood zones— lists every zone you've discovered (biome, danger level where computable, first-seen date),/rpgmood zones fav <name>to mark favorites, and shows distance to your nearest known zone.- Night and thunderstorm mob bonus —
mob_scaling.night_bonus/thunder_bonus(default +2 each) add extra difficulty during vanilla night and thunderstorms. - Day/night ambient sounds — low-probability bird/eerie-ambience flavor sounds near each player.
- Weather now has mechanical effects, not just messages — brief Darkness pulses during thunderstorms and small wind nudges during rain under open sky.
- Nether acid rain — a new periodic hazard for the Nether, which has no vanilla weather to hook into otherwise.
- Per-zone music — optional
musickey inzones.yml, played once on entry. - Player progression level (
/rpgmood level, shown in the main menu) — a separate XP/level track from mob difficulty, earned from scaled-mob kills and discovering new zones; every 5 levels raises your animal ownership cap by 1. - In-game admin config editor — new "Admin Config" panel in the GUI menu (admin-only) with steppers for spawn protection radius, the mob-scaling curve, night/thunder bonuses, and the weather-effects toggle.
- Fine-grained
/rpgmood-farmpermissions —rpgmood.player.farmingsplit into.season/.crops/.recipes/.animal(all defaulttrue, so behavior is unchanged unless you explicitly restrict one).
