Link up to five minecarts with iron chains. Powered rails move the train; leaving the front cart stops it. Paper 26.3
ChainTrain 0.3.0 beta — Paper 26.3
This release supports both ordinary and experimental minecart physics automatically.
- Couple up to five carts using iron chains, with one chain consumed per successful connection.
- Drive from the front cart on powered rails without a furnace cart.
- Stop the entire train when its driver leaves the front cart.
- Show vanilla iron-chain models between coupled carts, with no client mod or resource pack.
- Save couplings across server restarts and recover the original native physics when carts are detached.
Requirements: Paper for Minecraft 26.3, Java 25. No additional plugin dependencies. Other Minecraft versions and server implementations are not claimed as supported.
Validation: 17 automated tests; 1,935 experimental-world checks and 1,759 ordinary-world checks on Paper 26.3-169-46d4834. Server test drivers were artificial players; real-client gameplay and smoothness remain unverified. This is a beta release.
Install or upgrade: stop the server; remove older ChainTrain JARs from plugins; preserve plugins/ChainTrain; add ChainTrain-0.3.0-paper26.3-beta.jar; start the server.
