BagOfGold-4.8.0.jarfor physical currency. - Install

plugins/MobHunting/config.ymlbefore enabling rewards for players.
A complete server restart is recommended when installing or updating the plugin stack.
Rewards and penalties
Every supported mob type can have its own configurable reward. Positive values reward the player, while negative values can be used as penalties.
This allows server administrators to:
- Reward hostile-mob hunting.
- Penalize the killing of protected or passive animals.
- Disable rewards for selected mobs.
- Adjust rewards by world or difficulty.
- Run console commands as special rewards.
- Give items, permissions or other server-specific benefits.
Special kill bonuses
MobHunting can increase rewards when players use particular techniques. Available mechanics include bonuses for:
- Fighting without a weapon.
- Long-range sniper kills.
- Returning a Ghast fireball.
- Making a mob fall to its death.
- Killing mobs while mounted.
- Causing one mob to kill another.
- Maintaining a kill streak.
- Other configurable combat conditions.
Bonuses can be adjusted or disabled in the configuration.
Achievements and skull collection
Players can unlock achievements for killing particular mobs, using selected weapons or completing special types of kills.
Achievements can award money, execute commands or provide other configured benefits. Mob and player heads can also be used as collectible rewards.
Bounties and player hunting
Players can place configurable bounties on other players. When the target is defeated under valid conditions, MobHunting processes the bounty through the configured economy.
Player-kill rewards, penalties and money stealing can be configured or disabled to suit the server's PvP rules.
Grinder protection and learning mode
MobHunting tracks suspicious or repetitive farming activity and can reduce or deny rewards from detected grinding areas.
Learning mode helps players and administrators understand reward decisions, including why a kill did not produce a payment.
Leaderboards and Master MobHunters
Kill statistics can be displayed through leaderboards and signs. With Citizens installed, servers can also use Master MobHunter NPCs to represent leading players.
Worlds and protected regions
MobHunting can be disabled in selected worlds. WorldGuard integration allows administrators to control hunting behavior in individual regions.
This is useful for:
- Spawn areas.
- Creative or minigame worlds.
- Protected towns.
- Arenas.
- Dedicated mob-farming areas.
Optional integrations
MobHunting retains integrations with a large ecosystem of plugins. The current reference environment includes integrations such as:
- BagOfGold and Vault-compatible economies.
- BetterRevive.
- CMILib.
- Citizens.
- EssentialsX.
- InfernalMobs.
- MyPet.
- PlaceholderAPI.
- Towny.
- WorldEdit and WorldGuard.
Some integrations were validated only for loading and clean shutdown, while others received gameplay or regression testing. Additional inherited integrations remain available but have not all been tested on Paper 1.21.11.
See the compatibility report for the current validation status and the list of retired integrations.
