🚀 Getting Started with BanSentinel

Thank you for choosing BanSentinel! Follow these steps to get your moderation system up and running in minutes.

1. Installation

Download the BanSentinel.jar file from the Artifacts or Download section.

Place the file into your server's plugins/ folder.

Restart your server to generate the configuration files.

2. Permissions

To use any command, ensure your staff members have the following permission node:

simpleban.admin: Grants access to all ban, unban, check, and GUI features.

3. Key Commands

/punish : Opens the visual GUI for quick moderation.

/ban [time] [reason]: Manually ban a player.

/ipban : Prevent a player from joining using their current network.

/banreload: Use this after editing config.yml to apply changes without restarting.

4. Customization

Open plugins/BanSentinel/config.yml to change:

Backup Frequency: How often the plugin saves your data.

Broadcast Messages: Customize how the server announces punishments.

Appeal Links: Add your Discord or website link to the ban screen.
