Prost

Prost turns a Minecraft session with friends into a drinking game. Open a round, invite your friends, and keep playing as usual - every few minutes Prost hands the round a challenge. Whoever fails drinks the sips shown at the start; winners get real-life rewards. Everything happens in real life: Prost never gives or takes anything in game.

Play responsibly. Any drink counts - water mode, personal sip limits and jokers are built in, and every player sees a short notice in their first round.

• 103 challenges in 5 kinds - Team, Each, Race, Duel and Solo, all editable in challenges.yml
• 12 goal trackers - mining, statistics, collecting, gifts, inventory, counting, distinct things, reaching places, avoiding things, wearing items, building towers and meeting up
• Rewards for winners - hand out sips, make a rule, earn a joker or pick the next challenge (one penalty per challenge: when anyone drinks, nobody gets a reward on top)
• The action roulette - a small random chance on everyday actions like mining, eating or fishing, capped per player
• Fair by design - only challenges that are possible right now are drawn (Nether/End, day/night, weather); AFK players, spectators and creative players sit out
• Your language - English and German shipped, per-player language (client language or /prost language), any other language by dropping in a file
• PlaceholderAPI - %prost_*% placeholders for TAB, scoreboards and holograms, and placeholders inside Prost's own texts
• SQLite or MySQL/MariaDB - nothing to set up, or one database shared by several servers
• For developers - a small MIT-licensed API with hooks (language, AFK, bots, Nether/End, excluded areas) and events

Getting started

1. Put the jar into plugins/ and start the server.
2. /prost opens the menu, /prost start opens a round and makes you the host.
3. /prost invite <player> sends an invite with an accept button, or others type /prost join <code>.

Requirements

• Paper or a Paper fork, Minecraft 1.21.4 - 26.x, Java 21+
• Optional: PlaceholderAPI, EssentialsX (its AFK state is used)
• Internet access on the first start (Paper downloads the MariaDB driver Prost declares)

Commands and permissions

German players can use the German words too (/prost einladen, /prost verlassen, ...).

Anonymous usage statistics are sent to bStats; switch them off with metrics: false in config.yml.
