CustomDaytime — Longer Days, Normal Gameplay (vibeCoded)
Customize your world's day and night lengths without changing the server tick rate. Enjoy longer daylight while keeping tick-based gameplay running at its normal speed.
Features
- Independently configurable day and night durations, in minutes.
- Default settings: 40-minute days and 10-minute nights.
- Separate settings for each configured world.
- Optional night acceleration when enough players sleep.
- Iron farm sleep compensation for extended day/night cycles.
Iron Farm Compatibility
Longer days can outlast villagers' normal sleep requirement for summoning iron golems. Sleep compensation extends the validity of an actual sleep to match the configured cycle. Villagers must still have access to beds and sleep; other golem spawning conditions remain unchanged.
Configuration
"minecraft:overworld" {
dayLength=40.0
nightLength=10.0
accelerationEnabled=false
ironFarmSleepCompensation=true
}
Settings are stored in plugins/CustomDaytime/config.conf. Existing configurations are preserved when updating. Restart the server after making changes.
Durations assume 20 TPS. Daytime covers world time 0–11999, and nighttime covers 12000–23999, including twilight.
