Configurable supply drops, landmark encounters, legendary guardians and timed loot claims for survival servers. Race to Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary drops, complete objectives and hold your position to claim the loot.

Installation

Use v1.0.1 for Minecraft 26.2 or v1 for Minecraft 26.3. Separate Paper builds; Java 25 required. Stop and back up your server, then install one matching jar in plugins. Preserve configuration, player records and recovery journals when upgrading. Do not install both jars together.

WorldEdit is needed for schematics and landmarks. CreatorRuntime is needed for supplied Creator item rewards. Vault and an economy provider are needed for economy features. Optional expansion content needs separate installation/configuration; a jar-only update does not merge new guardian/event definitions into existing configurations.

Resource packs and mappings provide custom visuals. Geyser/Floodgate are optional. Bedrock support on Minecraft 26.3 depends on Geyser; server-wide recipe/block translation issues are outside Airdrops.

Optional expansion packs

The plugin download here is the JAR. Installing the JAR alone does not install or enable all expansion features. The matching GitHub Full package includes seven optional content packs:

• Minecraft 26.2 / Airdrops v1.0.1: GitHub downloads — choose AirDrops-v1.0.1-MC26.2-Full.zip.
• Minecraft 26.3 / Airdrops v1: GitHub downloads — choose AirDrops-v1-MC26.3-Full.zip.

These are optional configuration/content packs, not seven additional plugin JARs. Install only the features you want. Stop and back up the server first; follow the package instructions and merge existing files rather than overwriting your settings, player records or recovery journal. For the compact layout, use the selected pack under optional-content/ready-for-compact/<pack>/Airdrops/. Do not install both compact and legacy layouts.

Schematic content needs WorldEdit. Supplied Creator item rewards need CreatorRuntime; economy features need Vault and a supported economy provider. Custom visuals also need the matching resource packs, and Bedrock visuals need compatible Geyser custom mappings. Existing Legendary landmark events need the supplied guardian/event definitions merged separately; replacing only the JAR will not add them.

Full installation guide, commands and troubleshooting

Testing

/airdrop test common follows the configured placement area and safe-terrain checks; it does not guarantee a drop beside you. If no safe location is found, check the configured world/area, loaded terrain and clearance. Try open ground in the configured area. /airdrop clear clears the active drop and its associated structure.
