Gives every player on the server a 54-slot ender chest instead of the vanila default 27
Added
Automatic per-player language. Messages and menus now show in each player's own Minecraft client language, so English and Vietnamese players on the same server each read it in their own language at the same time. On by default; turn it off with the new
language-auto-detectsetting to show everyone a single language instead.- Clients whose language is not translated fall back to the
languagelocale inconfig.yml. - On upgrade, existing installs start auto-detecting automatically: set
language-auto-detect: falseto keep the previous behavior of showing every player the singlelanguagelocale. - A translation you add under
language/is now served to matching clients on its own, without having to pointlanguageat it.
- Clients whose language is not translated fall back to the
Login reminder for temporary chests. A player who logs in with items still waiting in a temporary chest now gets a reminder to collect them before it expires, shown in chat and on the action bar at once, with a sound. On by default.
- Turn the whole reminder off with
temp-enderchest.join-notify.enabled, or silence just its sound withtemp-enderchest.join-notify.sound.enabled(the sound istemp-enderchest.join-notify.sound.key). - The reminder shows how many temporary chests are waiting and how long until the soonest one expires, and its wording lives in
messages.ymlunderchest.temp-join-chatandchest.temp-join-actionbar. Existing installs get these keys added automatically.
- Turn the whole reminder off with
Changed
- In the
inventorystyle of the/eclistchest list, temporary overflow chests now show as a copper chest instead of an ender chest, so they stand out from your normal chests at a glance. - In the
inventorystyle of the/eclistchest list, time-limited chests (a normal chest granted with an expiry) now show as a plain chest instead of an ender chest, so you can tell at a glance which of your chests will expire. A chest you have given a custom icon still shows that icon. - Renamed the five import-dialog field labels in
gui.ymlto end in-label(for exampledialog.import-hostis nowdialog.import-host-label), so every input label is named consistently. Existing installs upgrade automatically on startup; only a fully customlanguage/folder needs these keys renamed by hand to stay translated. - The "time remaining" text on expiring chests (the
/eclistexpiry line, the sort cooldown message, and/ee addwith a duration) now shows in each player's own language instead of always using the English6d 23hform. Newdurationkeys inmessages.ymllet you translate the unit labels and set the spacing (Vietnamese now reads6 ngày 23 giờ); existing installs get these keys added automatically.
Performance
- Database writes are much faster. Every write-back (the periodic autosave, the save a few seconds after a player quits, and the final save at shutdown) now writes all pending changes in a single transaction using the database's native upsert, instead of one transaction per table with a separate delete-then-insert pass. This matters most when many players quit at once (a restart, the end of an event): each departing player's data reaches the database in roughly half the time, so the write-back queue drains much faster. Applies to all four backends (SQLite, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL).
- Loading a player's data is faster. The read that runs when a player joins (and when an admin command touches an offline player) now fetches the player's chests and settings over one database connection instead of two, roughly halving its latency. The difference is most noticeable on SQLite, where every database call shares a single connection.
- Internal bookkeeping of unsaved changes is now tracked per player, so the quit-time "anything left to save?" check is constant-time no matter how many changes are waiting for the next autosave.
- Measured in the 450-player load simulation (
./gradlew stressTest): quit write-back latency dropped from ~9.6 ms to ~4 ms, admin reads on offline players from ~3.2 ms to ~1.4 ms, and overall storage throughput improved by roughly 40-70% run-over-run.
Fixed
- Fixed the chest descriptions (slot count and expiry time) in the
inventorystyle of the/eclistchest list showing in purple; they now use a neutral grey.
