The all new modern permissions system.

OlaPermissions

The blazing fast, node-based, cross-server permissions plugin built for modern Minecraft networks.

OlaPermissions is an enterprise-grade permissions management system for Paper and Velocity. It provides seamless cross-network synchronization via Redis, native Vault hook integration, and advanced node-based multi-group inheritance—all while remaining incredibly lightweight thanks to its O(1) memory caching engine.

✨ Features

  • Multi-Group Architecture: Players can hold infinite groups simultaneously. Permissions, prefixes, and suffixes inherit automatically, and dynamically prioritize based on group weight.
  • Node-Based Engine: Supports exact matches, wildcard nodes (essentials.), and full Regex pattern matching (R=.).
  • Contexts & Temporary Ranks: Grant permissions or ranks for a specific duration, or limit them to specific servers (e.g. survival) or worlds.
  • O(1) Permission Caching: Zero-lag permission checking. Heavy Regex math is calculated once per permission update, not every tick.
  • Cross-Network Synchronization: Instant permission updates across your entire network via Redis Pub/Sub.
  • Database Flexibility: Standalone servers can use local SQLite. Large networks can connect to MariaDB/MySQL.
  • LuckPerms Migration: Moving away from LuckPerms? Run /ola import luckperms to securely migrate your database in one click.
  • Vault & OlaVault Compatible: Natively provides both Permissions and Chat API hooks for external plugins.
