Chisel-Reborn-style decorative block variants, rebuilt for modern Paper.

Chisel on vanilla server ? YES it's possible. NPChiselPlugin brings back that decorative-block workflow — dozens of carved variants per base material, cycled with a right-click — on a plugin built from scratch for Minecraft 26.1+. It works standalone: just this plugin and its client-side companion mod for players to actually see the custom textures, which come from Chisel-Reborn.

Requires: NorrionProjectCorePlugin (server) + NorrionChiselMod (client, for rendering) Optional: FastAsyncWorldEdit — chisel variants survive copy/paste and schematic operations.

What players get

• Right-click to chisel — cycle through every carved variant of a block without breaking and replacing it.
• Stairs, slabs, and walls — every chisel pattern comes in shape variants too, not just full blocks, with correct connected-texture matching across corners and neighboring blocks.

• Placement, breaking, pistons, explosions — chisel blocks behave like their vanilla base material in every interaction, not just visually.
• Works across the same base materials Chisel-Reborn covered — concrete, stone, sandstone, deepslate walls, warped planks, grass blocks, glass, and colored stained glass (blocks and panes), and more.

What builders get

• FastAsyncWorldEdit integration — chiseled blocks are correctly read and written by //copy, //paste, and schematics instead of reverting to their base material.

1. Drop NPChiselPlugin-<version>.jar in plugins/ alongside NorrionProjectCorePlugin.
2. Install NorrionChiselMod on the client so the carved textures render — without it, chisel blocks fall back to their vanilla appearance.
3. Restart — no configuration required to get going.

Do players have to install the mod? No, it's not mandatory — without it, chisel blocks just show up as their vanilla base material, and everything (breaking, placing, pistons, explosions) still works normally. Players need it only to actually see the carved textures.

Do the custom textures show up without the mod? No — server-side, chisel blocks are tagged vanilla blocks; the carved appearance is rendered client-side by NorrionProjectMod.

Does this need FastAsyncWorldEdit? Only if you want copy/paste and schematics to preserve chisel variants — it's a soft dependency, everything else works without it.
