Warn, mute, kick and ban from a real Minecraft menu, with reasons, lengths and history.

What is it?
A punishment plugin whose staff tools are a real Minecraft menu. /punish Steve opens a screen with Steve's head, whether he is online, what he is serving now and how many warnings count against him. Pick a reason and a length, flip Silent, and press Warn, Mute, Kick, Temp-ban or Ban. Bans ask first, and take typed details.
Every button runs an ordinary command as the staff member who pressed it, so the commands are never second best: they work from console, from other plugins, for players on older clients, and without Dialog Engine installed at all.
The panel
- ✔ Reasons with lengths: pick "Hacking" and a mute or temp-ban gets the length you set for hacking, unless you choose another.
- ✔ Remembers your picks: each staff member's reason, length and Silent stay where they left them.
- ✔ Unmute and Unban appear only when they apply.
- ✔ Ban confirmation, with a box for details and Back to the panel.
- ✔ History, with a Revoke button on each entry.
- ✔ A player picker:
/punishon its own lists who is online, and takes a typed name for anybody offline. - ✔ A warning popup the warned player has to acknowledge, on the spot or the next time they join.
- ✔ Every button checks permissions when pressed: a helper without ban permission cannot ban from the panel.
Punishments
- ✔ Warn, mute, kick, temp-ban and ban, online or offline (except kick).
- ✔ IP bans with
-ip, and silent punishments with-sthat only staff hear about. - ✔ Escalation: three warnings and a one hour mute, five and a day's ban, or whatever you write.
- ✔ Caps per rank: helpers may mute for a day and temp-ban for three, moderators more, only some may ban for good.
- ✔ Mutes cover chat, private messages and signs, with the list of blocked commands yours to edit.
- ✔ Ban screens that say why, who, until when, and the ban number to appeal with.

Lengths: 30m, 2h, 7d, 2w, 1mo, 1y, or perm. A reason starting with # is a preset: /tempban Steve #hacking flying at spawn. punishments.staff gives the lot; punishments.exempt cannot be punished.
Make it yours
- Every command's name and aliases, and whether it exists at all.
- Every word, in MiniMessage, including the kick and ban screens and everything written on the panels.
- The screens themselves:
/de edit punishments:panelopens the panel in Dialog Engine's browser editor. Your edits are kept when Punishments updates. - Reasons, lengths, caps, escalation, who hears what.
- SQLite out of the box, MySQL or MariaDB to share one record across a network.
Installing
- Install Dialog Engine (free) for the panel. Punishments installs its screens into it on first start.
- Drop
Punishments.jarintoplugins/and start the server. - Edit
plugins/Punishments/config.ymlandmessages.yml, then/punishments reload.
What it connects to
- SpigotMC, to see whether a newer version is out.
update-check: falseinconfig.ymlturns it off. - Nothing else. The panel's resource pack is served by Dialog Engine, from your own server.
For developers
PunishmentPreEvent (cancellable, and the reason can be changed), PunishmentEvent and PunishmentRevokeEvent.
Support
Ask on Discord. Please don't post bugs in the reviews; we can't reply there, and we would rather fix it.
Made by ResourcePack AI
Punishments is built on Dialog Engine's public API, the same one any plugin can use. Both come from resourcepack.ai, a web editor for resource packs.
