A Region Manager Plugin For WorldGuard - Rent, buy, sell, auction off regions.
*(Sorry that paper upload has been outdated for months, I didn't even know they approved this plugin upload as it was already waiting weeks, and for that I am sorry I should have checked. ) *
Nexus Region Manager
Turn WorldGuard regions into a player-driven property marketplace.
Nexus Region Manager (NRM) lets players buy, rent, manage, and auction plots through in-game menus. Use it for residential districts, shopping areas, apartments, rental towns, and hotel rooms.
Administrators select existing regions, configure protection rules and pricing, then publish their properties. Players open /market to browse listings and find their next space.

Features
Buy, rent, or offer both
Choose how players acquire each property.
| Mode | Player options |
|---|---|
| BUY | Purchase the property. |
| RENT | Rent it for a configured price and period. |
| BOTH | Choose purchase or rental while the property is available. |
Every plot can have its own mode, purchase price, rental price, and rental period.
Guided setup
Use /nrm setup to prepare your marketplace:
- Detect Regions — find and select existing WorldGuard regions.
- Region Sub-Templates — save or choose a collection of plots.
- Settings Sub-Templates — assign protection rules, priority, entity profiles, and hotel behavior.
- Price Sub-Templates — configure shared pricing and individual plot overrides.
- Review & Generate — review your selections and publish.
Saved publishing arrangements let you reuse your setup across property collections.
Flexible pricing
Create shared pricing defaults, then override individual plots where needed.
For example, standard plots could cost 5,000 to buy or 250 to rent for seven days, while larger plots use higher prices. Purchase-only, rental-only, and combined offers can coexist in the same price plan.
You do not need a separate pricing template for every plot.
WorldGuard protection presets
Organize WorldGuard flags into reusable settings groups:
- Baseline flags define the protection rules applied to each region.
- Unlocked flags determine which settings eligible owners may change.
Settings sub-templates combine a flag group with region priority, an entity profile, and hotel behavior. Multiple templates can share the same protection rules.
Members and managers
Owners can add members and assign manager roles through in-game menus.
Available actions depend on the player’s role and server permissions. Players can change only the protection settings administrators have unlocked.
Rentals and renewals
Configure rental periods, renewal windows, reminders, and grace periods.
Eligible players renew through /market renew. Renewal charges the current rental price and adds another period to the existing expiration date. Expired properties follow your server’s configured policies.
Whole-plot rentals and subleases
Eligible outright owners can rent out their entire property while retaining ownership.
Owners can also create subleases for rooms, stalls, or other defined spaces inside a plot. Lease-management menus handle invitations, pricing, rental periods, and contracts.
Sublease tenants use /rental manage to review and manage their rented sub-region.
Property auctions
Eligible owners can offer properties through sale auctions. Players browse auctions and place bids through /market.
NRM also supports configurable inactivity and takeover auction workflows. Availability depends on existing rentals, subleases, and eligibility rules.
Hotel behavior
Enable hotel mode for rooms and controlled building spaces. Players normally may break only blocks they placed.
Management tools provide hotel information and placed-block tracking.
Entity limits
Assign entity profiles to properties and let players inspect configured limits and loaded living-entity counts.
Entity restrictions and property acquisition limits remain under server control.
Property discovery
Help players explore your marketplace with:
- Property information and boundary previews.
- Teleporting with configurable costs and cooldowns.
- Path guidance where navigation routes are available.
Plot restoration
Restore eligible regions from saved baseline schematics.
A valid baseline and the appropriate permissions are required. Restoration can replace player changes within the restored area.
Requirements
Use the NRM build matching your server platform, and check the release’s supported Minecraft versions before installing.
| Component | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Paper | Required for the full marketplace, including financial features. |
| Folia | Separate build available with financial features disabled. |
| WorldGuard | Required for regions and protection. |
| WorldEdit | Required for selections and editing infrastructure. |
| zMenu | Required for the in-game menu system. |
| MySQL | Required for the full setup and management workflow. |
| Economy provider | Required for financial features on Paper. |
Economy integrations
On Paper, use one of the following:
- ExcellentEconomy, with its NightCore dependency.
- Vault, with an economy plugin that registers a compatible service.
- VaultUnlocked, with a compatible economy provider.
A bridge alone does not provide an economy. Direct CoinsEngine integration is no longer supported.
Database setup
MySQL is disabled in the fresh configuration. NRM can start in limited JSON fallback mode, but the full marketplace and setup workflow require a working MySQL connection.
Configure the database, enable MySQL, and restart before continuing.
Folia support
The separate Folia build supports the documented nonfinancial workflow, including setup, publishing, browsing, and supported administration features.
Purchases, rental payments, renewals, auctions, and financial sublease operations are disabled on the Folia build.
Getting Started
- Install NRM and its required dependencies.
- Start the server to generate configuration files.
- Configure MySQL and your Paper economy integration.
- Restart and verify initialization.
- Create your WorldGuard regions.
- Run
/nrm setupin the world containing those regions. - Review and publish your properties.
- Open
/marketto verify the result.
Create your WorldGuard regions first. NRM detects existing regions; the setup wizard does not create their boundaries.
