SimplyTimer is a lightweight challenge timer for Minecraft Paper servers.
It is designed to do one thing: keep track of how long you spend on your Minecraft challenge — simple, persistent and without unnecessary features.

Starting a new challenge
When joining with a fresh timer, SimplyTimer welcomes the player and provides a clickable command to start the challenge.

Simple Actionbar Timer
The current challenge time is displayed unobtrusively above the hotbar while you play.

Personalized Join Messages
SimplyTimer remembers your progress and shows your current timer when you return.

Language Configuration
SimplyTimer supports English and German.
Open:
plugins/SimplyTimer/config.yml
and select your language:

Available languages:
en— English (default)de— German
If an unsupported language is configured, SimplyTimer automatically falls back to English.

Tested versions include Paper 1.21, 1.21.4, 1.21.11 and 26.2.
Other versions within the supported range may also work, but have not necessarily been tested individually.
Installation
- Download the latest SimplyTimer
.jar. - Place it inside your server's
pluginsfolder. - Restart the server.
- Start your challenge with
/timer start.
Development
SimplyTimer was developed with the assistance of AI tools, including OpenAI Codex.
The project concept, feature design, testing, configuration, and release decisions are managed by RodJays. All features are manually tested before release.
