Villagers Remember: Quests, Trust & Fair Trades
Villagers in vanilla Minecraft trade and that's it. With this plugin they ask you for help. The farmer needs 20 bread baked, the cleric wants zombies cleared off the road, the cartographer sends you to find a shipwreck. Do the job, bring what was asked and get paid. Keep helping and every villager remembers it: they greet you by how well they know you, give you better work, sell to you cheaper and one day make you the patron of their village.
Players join with a normal vanilla client and install nothing. The screens are vanilla dialogs, the markers are vanilla text displays, and the names come in each player's own language (English and Bulgarian for now).

Talking to villagers
Right-click a villager and they greet you the way your standing deserves. "Yes? Do I know you?" from a stranger, "My friend! Come, sit." from someone you have helped for weeks. Then you pick Tasks or Trade. Sneak + right-click still trades straight away, so trading halls stay one click.
Every villager with a job offers a few errands a day, more as their trade level grows. There are 21 kinds of tasks: craft, smelt, mine, harvest, fish, breed, tame, kill, brew, enchant, visit a structure or a biome and so on. Right-click the village bell for the board with all of the village's errands, its residents, your standing, the treasury and the village order.

Standing and trust
Each villager is a person with their own memory of you. Stoyan the farmer may be your best friend while the butcher next door has never heard of you. In a new village one villager dares to talk to you first, and more open up as you help them, trade with them or raise the village's standing. Villager tiers go Stranger, Acquaintance, Friend, Good friend, Best friend; to move up a tier you pass a trial of trust, a harder errand that pays double.
Your standing sets your prices. A Best friend in a Hero village trades 40% cheaper, while a player who hurt the village pays up to 50% more. Vanilla's own discounts still apply on top.

Rewards and the long run
Errands pay experience and standing, sized by the work, and every errand pays more than the same goods would fetch from a villager. Emerald rewards are off by default so trading keeps its worth; /errands emeralds on turns them on. Items come once, from trials of trust and from each profession's top reward.
Villages that trust you put a share of their work aside in a treasury, and you collect it in your ender chest. For the long run there are weekly contracts with legendary items, a monthly village order for the whole server sized by how many people play, fame titles and one patron per village.

Install
Paper 26.3 and Java 25. Put the jar in plugins and restart. Nothing else is needed.
The settings are in plugins/VillagersRemember/villagersremember.json, created on first start. Edit it and run /errands reload. All settings and commands are listed in the README and COMMANDS.md. Players have /errands, /errands book and /errands village; everything else needs operator level 3.
With KawaMood's Waystones datapack installed, the waystone in a village is named after the village.
