Thorium Anti-Cheat

Thorium is a cloud anti-cheat. The plugin streams what happens on your server to our engine, and the engine simulates what every player should be able to do, every tick. When a player does something the game would not allow, you get a flag with the evidence attached.

The heavy work (physics simulation, packet inspection, combat analysis) runs on our hardware. Your TPS stays yours.

Requires a free Thorium account at thorium.ac. The plugin is a client for the Thorium backend service.

What it detects

Over 50 checks across four areas, on every plan:

• Movement: speed, fly, nofall, timer, step, jesus, elytra, and full movement prediction
• Combat: reach, hit angle, multi-aura, autoclicker, velocity
• Packets: malformed, impossible and out-of-order packets
• World: scaffold, fast break, nuker, inventory move

Why cloud

• No TPS cost. The plugin captures and forwards. Nothing heavy runs in your tick loop.
• Updates without restarts. Detection lives on our side, so every improvement reaches your server without a jar update.
• Nothing on the player's machine. No client mod, no launcher check, no scanning.
• Network-wide context. A player hopping between your servers builds one history, not several.

Evidence, not just numbers

• Replays: 30 seconds before and after every flag, first or third person.
• Live spectate: watch a player from your browser while the engine points out anything suspicious.
• Discord: alerts with acknowledge, false positive and ban buttons, plus slash commands.
• Your escalation path: every check can stay flag-only until you trust it, then kick or ban on your terms.

Setup

1. Create a network at thorium.ac and choose a plan (Free included).
2. Add a server in the dashboard.
3. Drop the jar in plugins/, paste your network token and server name into the config, restart.
