TrystageMessage

TrystageMessage is a lightweight but powerful chat filtering plugin designed to keep your server chat clean and professional. It brings a Hypixel-inspired messaging style to your server, with clear, visually separated warnings that players are used to seeing on large networks.

The plugin is built to run on three major proxy and server platforms: Velocity, BungeeCord, and Bukkit/Spigot/Folia. You can use the same jar file on any of these environments – just drop it in and it will automatically detect the platform and activate the correct listener.

Main Features:

Chat cooldown with permission bypass (default 3 seconds, configurable). Players with the appropriate permission can bypass the cooldown entirely.

Duplicate message prevention – players cannot send the exact same message twice in a row.

Advertising blocking – a configurable list of keywords that will trigger an immediate block.

Sensitive word filtering – you can define multiple categories (e.g., adult, violence) with their own word lists and custom reason messages. Each category can have its own explanation, which is shown to the player when they are blocked.

Configurable messages with placeholders like {player}, {message}, {type}, and {reason} for dynamic, informative feedback.

Commands and Permissions:

/tmsg reload – Reloads the configuration file without restarting the server. Permission: tmsg.reload (default: op or console only)

The plugin is tested and fully functional on:

Velocity (any modern version)

BungeeCord (and forks like Waterfall)

Bukkit, Spigot, Paper, and Folia

The same jar works on all three. No extra configuration or separate builds are required.
