ProjectAnvils

Allow using MiniMessage tags in anvils. Your players will be able to colorize their item names.

With this plugin, you will be able to make colored names of item using MiniMessage tags when renaming in the anvil.

For example, to make a red name, you can use:

<color:red>Example Item Name

The plugin uses MiniMessage, so you can find out more about formatting on their wiki.

You can configure whether you need permission to use the plugin in config.yml. By default, the player needs this.
