![JustAuction](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/filasik/JustAuction/main/assets/banner.png) # JustAuction A safe, fast auction house for **Paper**. Put the item in your hand up for a fixed price or a timed auction; everyone else browses a GUI, buys or bids. Works with any economy that registers with **Vault** or **VaultUnlocked** (EssentialsX, CMI via its Vault bridge, ...). Sales go through one guarded state machine: two buyers can never both win, items are never duplicated, and interrupted purchases are recovered on the next start. ## Features - **Fixed-price listings:** `/ja sell ` lists the whole stack in your hand (`1500`, `12.5`, `2k`, `1.5m`) - **Timed auctions:** bids, optional buyout and anti-sniping: `/ja auction [buyout]` - **Refunds that survive crashes:** outbid money is returned through a database ledger, even if the economy is briefly unavailable - **Paginated GUI** with search, sorting and a confirm screen before every purchase - **Offline sellers are paid;** items that do not fit go to `/ja claim` - **Sales fee, listing fee,** price limits, listing duration, per-player listing limits (`justauction.limit.`) - **Blacklist,** including the contents of shulker boxes and bundles - **Never blocks the server:** all database work is asynchronous - **SQLite by default,** MariaDB/MySQL optional - **Optional public announcements** for listings, sales, bids and auction results (off by default) - **For developers:** cancellable API events and PlaceholderAPI placeholders - **English and Czech,** every message editable (MiniMessage); `config.yml` is fully commented and updated automatically with new options - Update notifications from GitHub releases ## Requirements - Paper **26.3** and Java **25** - Vault or VaultUnlocked, and an economy plugin that registers with it - Internet on first start (database drivers are downloaded once) ## Commands `/ja`, `/ja sell `, `/ja auction [buyout]`, `/ja bid `, `/ja buyout `, `/ja mylistings`, `/ja claim`, `/ja search `, `/ja history`, `/ja reload`, `/ja admin remove `. Aliases `/auction` and `/ah` are configurable. ## Permissions `justauction.use`, `justauction.sell`, `justauction.auction`, `justauction.broadcast.receive` (default: everyone), `justauction.admin` (op), `justauction.limit.` (max listings), `justauction.bypass.limit`. ## FAQ **Does it support Spigot or Bukkit?** No, Paper only (it relies on Paper's plugin loader and Brigadier commands). **Folia?** Not yet; there is no Folia build for 26.3. The code is structured for it. **MariaDB/MySQL?** MySQL is tested. MySQL 8+ with its default self-signed certificate needs `storage.mariadb.ssl-mode: trust`. A real MariaDB server is untested. **Where do sales fees go?** They are removed from the economy. **CMI?** CMI's economy needs CMI's Vault bridge (CMI Injector); without a Vault economy provider JustAuction disables itself with a clear message. **What happens to unclaimed items?** They wait in `/ja claim` for `claim-retention-days` (default 7), then they are deleted. **Statistics?** Anonymous usage statistics via bStats; disable with `metrics: false`. **Can I announce sales in chat?** Yes, enable the events you want under `broadcast` in `config.yml`.
