Real interfaces on a vanilla client: panels, icons, a live cursor. No mods, nothing to install.
Found building the first real pages for a server, on a live client.
- A column of text beside an icon no longer overlaps itself. A row measured each child against the whole row, so a column of text next to an icon was measured as one line and drawn as two in the room it was really given — the second line lay over the heading, and whatever came after the row started too high. Each child is now measured at the width it gets.
- The icon beside it keeps its size. A child that fills a row claimed its whole text on
one line, the row came up short, and its neighbours were squeezed to make up for it. It now
claims only what it cannot do without, the way
flex: 1does, and takes the rest. - Children that fill a row come out the same size — two cards side by side are a pair — unless one cannot be drawn that narrow. "Русский" and "English" were different widths.
- Number keys reach a page that asks for them, in any order. Pressing "2" with slot 1
held is a step of one, exactly what the wheel sends, and it was read as scrolling: keys
worked only out of order. On a page with
usesKeysevery change of slot is now a key, the wheel steps through them, andholdKey(n)moves the hotbar when the page is switched another way.
