TownyElections 2.0.0 aligns the plugin version with the TownyElections-2 brand name and strengthens the codebase for contributors—election logic, settings, or permissions remain unchanged, and config-version remains at 2, eliminating the need for any migration. Permission error fixed — townyelections.player is now registered as top-level permission, instead of previously nested incorrectly. Cleaned up Spanish-localised content — Removed outdated profile/nation keys and removed expired {profile} placeholders from nine messages. Missing translations added — German, Spanish, French, and Brazilian Portuguese now include gui.stale-menu-closed and will no longer be reverted to English. Release Security Enhancement — Tag push validates according to pom.xml version and includes the jar file and generated documentation. The backend has been completely revamped for CI, code checking, CodeQL, Dependabot, documentation, and contributor automation processes.
