A continuation of vingaming1113's TownyElections, maintained here as TownyElectionsReborn. Full credit to vingaming1113 and contributors for the original plugin, concept, and codebase — this fork exists to keep it alive and maintained.

Run real elections on your Towny server: residents file candidacy, campaign, and vote, with automatic rank and mayor handover once the election concludes.

Setup

Drop the jar in your plugins folder, restart the server, then configure things in plugins/TownyElections/config.yml.

How players use it

• /election run — file as a candidate in the current election.
• /election withdraw — pull out of the race if you change your mind.
• /election campaign <message> — set a campaign message voters will see.
• /election status — check what phase the election is in.
• /election candidates — see who's running and what they're campaigning on.

Admins can kick off and manage elections too — check the repo README for the full admin command list, permissions, and PlaceholderAPI support, since those details get updated between versions.
