GateMC — Minecraft Server Web Platform Integration Plugin

GateMC is a server-side plugin for Minecraft Java servers that connects them to the GateMC Web platform. Once the plugin is installed and the server is linked, you can freely choose from features including a server profile page, server forum, real-time Web-to-game chat, server status monitoring, Web console management, cross-server messaging, AI-based toxic chat filtering, player behavior risk monitoring, and cloud blacklist lookup.

Both the GateMC plugin and Web platform support Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese. Servers are welcome to join GateMC, and all features described here are guaranteed to remain free permanently. Regular servers can apply for a Key directly on the website without joining any group chat or waiting for manual approval. After downloading the plugin, place it in the server’s plugins directory and start the server. Then follow the instructions on the website to apply for a Key, enter it into the configuration file, and run /gatemc reload to reload the configuration.

Server Page, Forum, Web Chat, Status and Management

After connecting to GateMC, each server can have its own platform page for storing and displaying information such as the server name, description, address, version, online status, player count, TPS, memory usage, and other status information. Each server also has its own independent forum.

A Web chat room is also provided. It can communicate with Minecraft in-game chat in real time, allowing players to view or participate in server chat directly from a browser even when the game is not running. Servers can also apply to enable cross-server messaging and communicate with players on other servers.

All of the above features can be enabled individually.

GateMC also provides a publicly accessible server management page that allows the server console to be managed remotely through the Web. This feature must be enabled separately.

Cloud Blacklist and Risk Analysis

GateMC provides cross-server player risk lookup. Its database includes punishment data from connected servers, publicly available Minecraft punishment records, and malicious IP databases, giving it one of the largest datasets among similar cloud blacklist projects. When a player joins a server, the plugin can check whether the account has historical risk records and notify online players and administrators.

In addition to historical data, GateMC also uses player movement, mining, block placement, and other behavioral features to generate player profiles. Vector similarity detection and machine learning models are then used to evaluate abnormal behavior. Servers can optionally enable automatic bans for players who are reported as abnormal by both the blacklist and behavior detection systems. (Automatic bans must be enabled manually, and the detection model is mainly designed for survival servers.)
