IMPORTANT BUGFIX UPDATE

AegisGuard v1.2.6.1 is an important stability and bugfix release for servers currently running v1.2.6.

This update focuses on fixing overlooked issues that could affect:

storage reliability
reload safety
ClaimBlock exchange consistency
non-Folia mob barrier behavior
map hook reload handling
cross-server compatibility for Bukkit, Paper, Purpur, and Folia-style servers

If you are currently using v1.2.6, updating to v1.2.6.1 is strongly recommended.

💾 Storage Reliability Improvements

Storage backend handling has been tightened so configuration is read more consistently and startup behavior is more reliable.

💱 ClaimBlocks Exchange Ownership Fix

ClaimBlock exchange flow is now more reliable because command and GUI behavior share the same live service state.

This helps prevent:

cooldown desync
inconsistent exchange behavior
state drift between menus and commands

🔄 Safer Reload Behavior

Reload handling has been improved so important systems behave more predictably when admins refresh the plugin.

A bug affecting mob barrier behavior on non-Folia servers has been fixed, improving consistency across different server software environments.

☕ Safer Java 17 Build Targeting

The build pipeline now targets Java 17 more safely, reducing compatibility risk when the plugin is built on newer JDK versions.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE LARGER JAR

The v1.2.6.1 JAR is larger than previous versions because this release now bundles important dependencies directly inside the final build.

This was done intentionally to improve compatibility and reduce setup problems, especially for:

larger servers
SQL-backed servers
servers using SQLite, MySQL, or MariaDB
server owners who want a more plug-and-play setup

Bundled dependencies now include support for:

SQLite
MySQL
MariaDB
connection pooling and related runtime libraries

This makes the final JAR larger, but also more complete and more reliable for production use.

INSTALLATION

Stop your server.
Place AegisGuard-1.2.6.1.jar into your /plugins folder.
Install Vault plus a supported economy plugin if you want money-based features.
Start the server once so AegisGuard can generate its files.
Review config.yml and your language files before going live.
