Private CoreProtect history viewer for Paper: GUI, all-player and all-block search, per-admin highlights.

Report CPVisualizer?

CPVisualizer

Private CoreProtect history visualization for Paper 26.2 / Java 25. Browse recorded block and container actions through an inventory GUI and highlight matching positions only for the administrator running the search.

Features

  • Independent search sessions and private highlights for each administrator.
  • Search one historical player or all online and offline players.
  • Filter by a block material or search every block type together.
  • Placement, breaking, interaction, container additions and removals.
  • Time, world and radius filters, paginated results, event details and teleportation.
  • Bounded background queries and configurable result limits.
  • No client mod or ProtocolLib required. Real blocks and CoreProtect history are never changed.

Installation

  1. Stop the server.
  2. Install CoreProtect 24.1 with API 12 enabled separately.
  3. Put CPVisualizer.jar into plugins/ alongside CoreProtect.
  4. Start Paper 26.2 using Java 25 and run /cpv as an operator.

CoreProtect is a required dependency and is not bundled. This release targets Paper; Folia and other server platforms are not supported. The in-game menus and messages in version 1.1.0 are in Russian.

All players and all blocks

/cpv player all
/cpv block all
/cpv action ALL
/cpv time 24h
/cpv radius 100
/cpv search

/cpv blocks all, /cpv bloks all, and * are also supported selectors. CoreProtect system actors beginning with # are excluded from all-player results. Radius searches use an inclusive X/Z square across all heights.

Permissions

Permissions default to operators: cpvisualizer.use, cpvisualizer.search, cpvisualizer.teleport. cpvisualizer.admin includes these permissions and allows /cpv reload.

Coverage and validation

All-player global block searches cover loaded worlds only. Results are bounded: the default final limit is 500 events. Historical container types are inferred from retained logs; uncertain types are included only when all blocks are selected. Narrow the time or radius if the plugin reports a limit.

All 14 automated tests and clean builds against both a local CoreProtect 24.1 JAR and the official Maven API artifact passed. In-game verification with two clients has not yet been completed.

Documentation

Development disclosure: the implementation and documentation were generated with AI from the project requirements and reviewed with automated tests. The plugin itself does not use an AI service.
