# NPColiseumPlugin > A wave-based mob arena / colosseum event, fully built in-game — no config files to hand-edit. --- ![presentation](https://i.ibb.co/GvvQjT1b/presentation.png) Drop your players into a wave-based arena: custom mobs with their own stats, loot and quirks, pre-built kits, a friendly-fire-aware lives system, a live sidebar scoreboard and a persistent leaderboard. Every bit of it — mobs, kits, arenas, waves — is authored entirely through in-game GUI editors, with real inventory slots for placing items straight where they go. **Requires**: [NorrionProjectCorePlugin](https://modrinth.com/project/npplugincore) **Optional**: [WorldGuard](https://modrinth.com/plugin/worldguard) — ties an arena to a region and lets you edit every one of its flags in-game. --- ![features](https://i.ibb.co/tMQj3HBf/features.png) ## Custom mob editor - Full stat sheet per mob (health, damage, speed, armor, knockback, and more) - Equipment with per-piece drop chances, extra guaranteed/chance-based drops, and a toggle for whether vanilla loot still rolls. - Potion effects, a configurable kill-point value, and an optional XP drop override. - Entity-specific options where they exist: Creeper charge/radius/fuse, Ghast fireball explosion power, Wither invulnerability ticks, Slime/Phantom size, and cosmetic variants (Sheep/Wolf/Cat/Shulker color, Parrot/Fox/Rabbit/Panda/Llama variant). - Mounts — have one custom mob ride another, nested as deep as you want. - `/npcoliseum admin spawnmob ` to drop a fully-built mob at your feet for a quick test, no arena required. ## Kit editor - Build a kit's entire loadout — main inventory, armor, off-hand - A one-click "copy my current inventory" shortcut for setting a kit up from scratch. - Potion effects that apply the instant the match actually starts. - A custom armor trim pattern per kit, paired automatically with each team's own color. - A custom icon per kit. ## Arena editor - Identity: team count/size limits, lives (shared per team or per player), friendly fire mode, an availability schedule (always open / closed / open on a timer), spectator toggle. - A lobby spawn, an optional WorldGuard region with a full in-game flag editor, and as many named spawn points as you want (global, or reserved per team). - Wave builder: each wave fires one or more actions (spawn N copies of a mob at a location, broadcast a message) and either waits a fixed delay or waits until every mob it spawned is dead before moving on — optionally with a boss bar totaling the combined HP of everything it spawned, live-updating as it gets cleared. - Pick which of your kits are available for this arena, with a one-click preview of a kit's full contents before enabling it. ## Playing a match - `/npcoliseum join ` drops you in the lobby; pick a team (or stay a spectator) and your kit right there. - A countdown with on-screen titles and sound, players frozen in place until go. - Points for every kill, a live sidebar scoreboard (current wave, points, top 5, team totals), and `/npcoliseum leaderboard` for an all-time/weekly/daily ranking across every arena or just one, plus a personal stats screen. - Crash-safe: a player who disconnects mid-match gets their real inventory back exactly as it was, even across a server restart. ## Admin tools - `/npcoliseum admin givekit ` — hand yourself a kit instantly to inspect it. - `/npcoliseum admin start ` / `stop` — force a match to start even if the arena isn't fully staffed, or force-stop one instantly (never counted on the leaderboard). --- ![setup](https://i.ibb.co/84n8cKLK/setup.png) 1. Drop `NPColiseumPlugin-.jar` in `plugins/` alongside NorrionProjectCorePlugin. 2. (Optional) Install WorldGuard first if you want arenas tied to a protected region. 3. `/npcoliseum admin mob` to build your first custom mob, `/npcoliseum admin kits` for a kit, then `/npcoliseum admin arena` to put it all together — no config file to touch for any of it. --- ![commands](https://i.ibb.co/N2XQjSGk/commands.png) | Command | Permission | What it does | |---|---|---| | `/npcoliseum join ` | `norrion.coliseum.join` | Join an arena's lobby | | `/npcoliseum team` | `norrion.coliseum.join` | Pick a team or spectate | | `/npcoliseum leave` | `norrion.coliseum.leave` | Leave the current game | | `/npcoliseum spectate ` | `norrion.coliseum.spectate` | Teleport to an arena player (spectators only) | | `/npcoliseum leaderboard` | `norrion.coliseum.leaderboard` | View the leaderboard | | `/npcoliseum admin mob [id]` | `norrion.coliseum.admin.mob` | Open the mob editor | | `/npcoliseum admin kits [id]` | `norrion.coliseum.admin.kits` | Open the kit editor | | `/npcoliseum admin arena [id]` | `norrion.coliseum.admin.arena` | Open the arena editor | | `/npcoliseum admin spawnmob ` | `norrion.coliseum.admin.mob` | Debug: spawn a custom mob at your location | | `/npcoliseum admin givekit ` | `norrion.coliseum.admin.kits` | Debug: give yourself a kit directly | | `/npcoliseum admin start ` | `norrion.coliseum.admin.arena` | Debug: force-start your current arena | | `/npcoliseum admin stop` | `norrion.coliseum.admin.arena` | Debug: force-stop your current arena | --- ![faq](https://i.ibb.co/21QGb9yL/faq.png) **Do I need WorldGuard?** No — it's a soft dependency. Without it, an arena just has no region/flags screen; everything else (mobs, kits, waves, the match itself) works fine. **Can I edit an arena while a match is running in it?** Yes, the editor is always available — changes apply the next time that arena's waves run. **What happens if a match gets force-stopped?** Every player is teleported back and restored exactly like a normal match end, but it's never recorded on the leaderboard. --- ![support](https://i.ibb.co/20Zrj5gV/support.png) If there's a mob option, a wave behavior, or a kit mechanic you need and don't see here, come tell us on Discord. --- ![links](https://i.ibb.co/5gy4vpWy/links.png) - **Website & Wiki**: [norrion.eu](https://norrion.eu) - **Support**: [Norrion Discord](https://discord.gg/WHUZNQe) --- *Requires NorrionProjectCorePlugin — Optional: WorldGuard*
