Eight supernatural races for Paper. Community fork of Supernatural Players (2011), not the original release.

Report mmSupernaturals?

This is a community fork, not the original author's release. mmSupernaturals continues Supernatural Players, a Bukkit plugin published in 2011 by Matterz. The original repository, the author's GitHub account and its dev.bukkit.org page all return 404 today. This build is maintained by VampireAchao on top of an archived fork, and is not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by the original authors — who do not provide support for it. What it is

mmSupernaturals-cover

Eight supernatural races for a Paper server. A player is an ordinary person until something turns them: killed by a vampire, killed by a wild wolf at night, sacrificed to the Inferno, devoted enough to the Church, or unlucky enough to be finished by an enderborn. Each race has its own abilities, its own way of turning people, and its own counter.

Race Turns by Turns back by In one line
Vampire gold-block altar lapis altar burns in daylight, strong at night
Ghoul zombie pigmen church altar hates water, truce with the undead
Werewolf killed by a wild wolf at night Wolfbane potion stronger after dark
Demon sacrifice in the Nether, in leather armour icy water and snowballs gains power in fire, fears ice
Priest devotion at the Church offering coal heals, cleanses, banishes
WitchHunter three supernatural kills, without dying a very bad shot its own bow work and a kill list
Angel the angel's road cleansing summoning costs an offering
EnderBorn a chance on a player kill — teleports, senses, spends pearls

Requirements

  • Paper 26.3 (api-version: 26.3), Java 25
  • Built against the Paper API — it does not run on plain Spigot
  • Optional: WorldGuard (region PvP checks), a permissions plugin (LuckPerms recommended)

Install

  1. Put mmSupernaturals-1.5.1.jar in plugins/
  2. Start the server — config.yml and data.yml are created on first run
  3. /sn classes lists the eight races, /sn help lists the commands
  4. Stand at the church and run /sn setChurch; stand at the banish point and run /sn setBanish

Commands

Players: /sn help · /sn power · /sn list · /sn classes · /sn killlist · /sn join

Admins: /sn cure · /sn convert <race> · /sn power <player> [amount] · /sn reset · /sn reload · /sn save · /sn setChurch · /sn church <add|remove|list|clear> · /sn setBanish

Power

Every race is held to 0 to 10000 power, whatever the source. A data.yml that says otherwise is corrected as it is read, and the correction is named in the server log. /sn power cannot take a total past the ceiling.
